Also what's that right edge when folded?
Still the rear facing camera.
Also what's that right edge when folded?
I dont know I think Mate X might of won this one.
I like how when folded you get the entire screen on the front. Samsung should of done that also.
Still the rear facing camera.
Huawei really took this one. Hope the Fold 2 will be more like the Mate X.
In the way that it would have a larger Battery, Faster Charging, more screen real estate no matter whether it's Folded or Unfolded, Memory Expansion, while keeping a slimmer profile.... Oh, and having a protective case already available. In what way do you want it like that?
Not laying flat on a table? The added $600+ in price? Less cameras?

That's how.
Price was forgotten when we started paying +$1000 for smartphones mate.Funny you left out the price![]()

These are not iPhones, their prices will drop rapidly.
ExactlyEspecially when they discover the demand simply isn't there yet. You're right. lol
Exactlythis is why I love the Android smartphone market, they simply cannot keep the prices THAT HIGH for too long, they will need to do promos to start shifting units.
Personally I will not buy either device, I'm waiting for the 2nd Generation of both of these beasts.
I am absolutely loving how Huawei and Samsung are going at each other, this is the competition Samsung has been needing for so long.
Funny you left out the price ??????
But yeah, if there is a case for this thing, and Huawei can back it up with usable software (multi-window, multiple apps compatible) they're on to something!
Yes and no. It's gorgeous... But think about the wear and tear on the screen with no case to protect it. Absolutely beautiful to look at, but a nightmare to maintain.
I think anyone who buys these things will be guinea pigs. there is no way to tell how they will hold up
Who uses laptops? They're less expensive to get buyers. Everyone uses phones. That's one reason prices are going up.
Unless you need one for a job, people don't use them.
Mobile Cyber Week Sales Accounted for 53% of Total Revenue in 2018.
More people shopped via mobile device not laptop.
Windows isn't the only software for laptops.
BUT just like the Note 9, you could possibly use basic Word, Excel and PowerPoint if you need to.
So I guess what your saying is that if you want to make money (or, like most people, HAVE to make money) buy a laptop. If you just want to sit around and spend money, buy a Fold.
Fair enough.
Currently thinking of what I can do with extra $1,980.00
yeah, I would probably just purchase another mac book pro lol
But that's exactly the reason for the high price. They're only going to make a thousand or so of these phones. They're not for the average consumer yet. They're for rich tech people who will give them the feedback they need going forward.
I absolutely agree with you, but they should be getting that information in a formal beta testing program rather than pay to test.
They already have that. Now it's time for real world play, just like they did with the original Note, which was very expensive for it's time.
