You forgot to put "hatred" in quotes. Why does an anonymous opinion provoke you?
Obviously they matter in the real world. Most people buying smartphones are not buying Apple phones. Not even in the US.
You speak of how Apple is losing this and that as if it actually means anything. The general public doesn't give a damn, as has been proven many times. Apple can lose in every little magical category, but it doesn't matter because they still have the most in demand smartphone in the world. There may be thousands of variations of the Galaxy phone or htc or whatever, but there are only 2 iPhones.
The demand is high, the stock is at its all time high. Yet you act as if Apple is somehow losing their dominance. They are the king, the top dog. No QHD or 7000ghz processor or silly home screen widget will change that.
No matter how far "behind" you may think iOS is, the iphone still remains the top dog.
Apple isn't the follower here, they aren't the ones making attack ads, they're the ones under attack.
So while you may act as if somehow Apple is "behind" the times, and now superior a processor is, people obviously either
1. Don't see any difference
Or
2. Don't care
You hate Apple, we get it, but sometimes you have to sit back and realize that Apple isn't competing with android in the sense that, it needs to be on par with it spec wise, or it needs to have every single feature that is present in android.
The device runs smoothly
It's as simple as that, that's all that the general public cares about. So Apple can "lose" in all those magical categories that are meaningless at the end of the day, and still raise itself to new heights.
An android processor being 373737373 times faster on paper really doesn't matter to the iOS user or to Apple. It's all about "can I do what I need to do, can I send and respond to texts on all my devices, can I check my email, can I watch a YouTube video, etc"
These numbers are all arbitrary.
Apples stock is at an all time high, the shareholders (myself included) are very happy with the direction of the company, and the sky isn't falling.
Apple has proven that they are the leader in this race time and time again.
