Samsung: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

Hopefully, this will be lessons learned for Samsung for the next release. They certainly underestimated the demand for the 512gb model. If they were smart, the next release will all have the same RAM and just have another storage option for $100-150 more. I think a lot of people just bought it for the extra RAM.

I haven't even gotten an email yet.

Just an email from the "Office Of the President." Here it is:

"Due to such a high demand for this product the shipping ETA has been pushed back to the week of September 23rd. I can completely see why this is so frustrating and I am committed to working with you to resolve your issue. I will keep a close eye on your ticket and should any updates or changes occur I will let you know immediately. We apologize for any inconvenience that may have impacted your experience with us. If you have any other questions or concerns please email me back."

So another 12 days. This is shameful.

I'm on day 31 here, same status. Last week my order issue was allegedly escalated and I was promised a phone call from a supervisor within 48 hours. So far, no call, no response on my ticket - just 2 generic emails - one stating they hit a speed bump and will ship by 9/29, the other stating my shipment has been delayed for over 30 days.

At least maybe we can set a record for the longest-running pre-order thread!

You guys know what is insult to injury. I have went to the Samsung site and have carted different variants of the note 9 to see ship dates, and if you are logged in, it saves your cart. Samsung has emailed me more times about reminding me about a saved cart than any actual order updates. And, every time I get a notification that starts with Samsung, I freak out thinking my order is shipping yet it is only a cart reminder. I feel as though they are bridge trolling. Anyone else?
