Samsung Galaxy s8 screen turns black and white for a second when clicking the power button?

[Android Central Question]

I just got my phone today and I noticed the screen goes sort of grey scale for a split second before turning off when I click the power button. Is this normal? If not, any ideas on how to fix it?

There is no grey scale setting or power saver mode enabled on my phone, I checked.

My Nexus 5 does it. It’s certainly normal on that phone.

Ive just posted a thread asking the same as well as another problem. Mine does it too. Got it direct from samsung
