For those whose trade in got accepted, did you send the trade in phone in it's original box? Or just the phone bubble wrapped and then into the big box?

I sent mine in the original box as i didn't need it

I then put it into another box , slapped the pre paid label on it and dropped it off at a Fedex center

I had an extra box laying around I used, bubble wrapped the trade in phone.

Yes, I sent my trade in using the original box because Samsung said to use the original box. I didn't want to make a mistake.

EDIT: Phone ordered on the 16th - trade in credit issued 11 days later on the 27th - no complaints on this deal from me.

Yes, I sent my trade in using the original box because Samsung said to use the original box. I didn't want to make a mistake.

I meant the original phone box not the packaging box of the Note 10. Samsung said you can use the original packaging box to send it in but you could use any other packaging box

I used same Google FedEx brown box sent with Pixel 3 XL. Just mailed my trade in today. Just the phone, I kept the pixel XL accessories that came in the box. Sammy doesn't want those anyway, just the trade in device.

Got my email yesterday that my trade in met all the requirements and was successful.

Actually got two emails. One Monday saying they recieved it. The second one yesterday saying it met all qualifications and they accepted the trade in..

I received an email yesterday that they got my Note 9. I had the front and back of the phone replaced a couple of months ago when I cracked them both. I'm hoping that won't make any difference since they both look new. I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Whether you buy from Microsoft store or not, windows integration is present in all models. There isn't anything special about the Microsoft store one, it's the same unlocked model you get from Samsung.com

Didn't know about the trade in value, $650 trade in is the best I have seen in long time beating even the samsung.com trade in. I'll probably stop by and check today. They don't specify which for which phones they are giving in maximum trade in value. Below is what they say.

"To receive maximum trade-in value, you must trade-in a qualifying mobile device and purchase a Samsung Galaxy Note10 or Note10+ Device at the same time. Customer will receive up to $650, which includes total trade in value."

Got confirmation my trade in was accepted. I'll miss my note 9. Still waiting for my $200 credit so I can pre order the active watch 2 in a few days.

The shipping box my N10+ Skittles came in was way too big and slide around in the open spaces.

I dropped by the local Microsoft store and indeed they are giving $650 for latest gen phones like iPhone X and up, Note 9 and I specifically checked for the smaller Pixel 3 which was eligible for the max trade in of $650. While it was enticing to just buy there itself and finish off the trade in on spot, the pre order coupon of $200 gift from Samsung.com and only black available in stock at my local Microsoft store made me pass on the offer

But if someone didn't pre-order and looking to buy now, the Microsoft store deal is a great one.
