(1) It's not a $1000 loss; if anything, it's the cost of the new phone.
(2) If they didn't have $1000 to blow on another phone, then maybe they should have:
(a) bought a case, or
(b) not acted like it was a $20 boost mobile walky-talky.
(3) That doesn't matter in the least. Insurance is a contract. When you agree to do something in contract, you do it or pay the consequences if sued/caught/etc. Just because someone hasn't gotten caught or others do it do not mean you are doing the correct thing.
1. What do you think is the retail price of a GN? lol Try 700 plus im sure he didnt get the original for free so assuming the cost was 300 its a 1000 dollar loss if he goes and gets another out of pocket.
2. I agree with buying a case but hey **** happens.. Read back, I told him he should have had insurance from jump and it is his fault. Some people dont like cases etc but thats why we are all in agreement that he should have had insurance from the start.
3. Once again I never said its the right thing to do, I said that most people would do the same and they do allow 30 days to put insurance on. I think alot of people in here are liars or contradict what they say which I stand by.. Like I said some of these people that scream fraud are the same people that have been trying to use the verzon loophole for unlimited data which isn't morally right either.
That is all...
