Screen dims but will not turn off

In the last couple of days, I notice the screen dims when it is supposed to time out, but it does not turn off. I have seen two updates in the past week. Has anyone else had this problem?

First place try restarting the device or clear cache.... maybe from the update something happened. Usually if you do those steps it clears out any junk that got transferred from update and old system.
