Scrolling "Roaming Indicator Off" notification

1st day with the new Pixel 3 XL. It already updated itself. After waking it up, in the upper left portion of the screen in the notification area, I'm getting a scrolling "Roaming Indicator Off" up there. When I pull down the quick settings, it appears there too. I'm not able to figure out how to get rid of the notification. Not just that, but I'd like to know if and when I'm roaming, if the notification is indeed correct that the roaming indicator is off. It's weird. I'll try posting a couple screen shots. Toggling the roaming toggles in the network settings doesn't affect the notification.

no. Takes me right to settings.

I would try a reboot , if don't help next reset network connection , then reset APN if all above don't work .

nothing happens when I long press over it in either the quick settings or the network settings

long pressing that roaming indicator doesn't do anything. Pressing on the pencil allows you to edit the quick settings choices

Yeah definitely contact them .

Under network settings, if you click on mobile network, is roaming on or off? Does it change anything if you switch it?

Who is your carrier?
Does this also happen in Safe mode?

That's where the carrier name should be. So, looks like your carrier is called 'Roaming Indicator Off'
