Looks like Motorola is about to have a similar experience. Lucky for them, they don't have any flagship phones launching shortly

This is infuriating, and none of that anger is towards HTC or Sprint on my part.

Here are a few reasons why you should point your finger at the nearest red fruit.

1. This is the first iPhone competitor stateside available for purchase in the 2012 year.
2. HTC has had a terrible previous quarter and is near the bottom of the Android manufacturer spectrum.
3. Had the ITC injunction been put in place when ATT released the One X, this prevents sales of not one, but two retailer providers from selling a solid iPhone competitor. Also don't forget ATT and Spring both carry the iPhone.
4. There's an iPhone credit promo going on with Sprint soon.
5. HTC stock has been on a steady decline since July of last year. It's value increased around the same time as MWC when they unveiled the One X.

How? for inventing something on OS9 and asking for their property to be enforced? They didn't call the ITC and say, "hey, can you hold these phones, and do your customs stuff?" No not at all. They won a court battle fair and square (in the eyes of the law) and now that judgement is taking effect.

I completely understand apple fans are zealots, but not thinking rationally about this is doing the exact same thing.

Its clear how you choose to spend your money, and what platform you support, thats fine, thats good, but "blaming" a company for something that (other than asking for a patent to be enforced) hasn't done really isn't necessary.

you can totally blame apple. theyre patenting (and getting away with) stupid things like the ability to click on a phone number and having the phone ask you what you want to do with it. thats ridiculous. microsoft should patent what happens when you click a mouse. if phone developers are going to be allowed to patent features like this left and right, the phone market will be pathetic, with different phones having different patents...

Depending on which HTC one your talking about. If its the one x all that's different is SD slot and of course what looks like physically

Im not really pissed off at apple or HTC, but Sprint. Reason why? Too much silence, cant cancel and you cant anything official but the usual.
