I think he was in the same situation as me. Got the correct tracking but just the label creation.

I don't care when they launch the phone as long as they go on and ship the preorders.

because its only common sense, they are not going to send the phones out ahead of the official launch, as you know the official launch was pushed back, therefore your preordered phone will not go out until Sprint gives the ok, which will be the day before the official launch at the earliest

I haven't blamed Sprint or HTC for any of this, but if they sit on these phones now to wait for some new "official" launch I will be BEYOND pissed off.

That's horrible reasoning. If they already have pre-ordered phones sitting in a warehouse ready to ship, then why hold them back even more when they do get the okay from customs just to match the national launch? If I were Sprint I would want to keep my customers as happy as possible, which would include shipping out the phones asap, at least to the people who pre-ordered.

I didn't even pre-order at Sprint, I pre-ordered at my local Best Buy, and even I would be pissed off if they held the Sprint.com pre-orders.

I would love for Sprint to ship out the pre-orders tomorrow, but a release date announcement would be welcome aswell.

When I pre-ordered the gnex i got it 2 days before launch... But who knows.

It would be absolutely silly from a business standpoint for Sprint corporate not to decide to ship as many orders as possible tomorrow if the customs barrier has actually been cleared. Seriously, the sheer fact that every moment that passes provides an opportunity/reason for more people to cancel their order is reason enough to kick the process into high gear.

They don't care at this point when they can officially launch. They will ship as soon as shipping is possible, trust me. It is mere business sense.

They keep telling us that they are going to try their hardets to get the phone in our hands before the national launch. So yes, they are going to send the phones out ahead of the official launch.

I agree, ship the pre-orders monday, we get them tues and wed. Launch phone Friday, use the week to re-promote them for store sales. It would be dumb to hold on the preorders and make their already upset customers (some of whom are asking to refund) even more upset.

I don't think the Engadget article was posted, but the source for that article is the same as the link that has been posted here too many times. So posted the Engadget link adds nothing. Same information.

That was horrible reasoning original date was 18 they were delayed so now as a company you want to get rid of em like hotcakes especially after being flooded by calls emails and online chats
