Shipping notification....Who's first?

"Some or all of the items you ordered are currently on backorder. You may cancel your order or order a similar product". WTF?!? Really Sprint? What COMPARABLE product is there? F*$#*@CK!!!
 
I got a UPS shipping email around 8:30 pm EST, saying a package shipped from Wyoming, MI and will arrive on 5/17. Only thing it could be is the phone since I haven't ordered anything else and that is one day before the official launch. No update on sprint and nothing say it is the phone, but couldn't be anything else.

Sprint ships from the UPS logistics distribution facility in Louisville, KY, not MI. They featured Sprint as one of UPS' major customers for it's logistics and distribution service processing on a CNBC video documentary. That's also why most will receive it the next day, as Louisville is UPS' main hub in the US.

So what to make of the backorder business? I order mine 1 hour into the preorder day. Up until this morn it said something like get ready. . . we will have it to you soon. . . Now it says Backordered? Dang. And, I just check with my bank, the $219 was take out on the 8th. . . so they already have had my money for a week . . . come on Sprint! Let's go!

I wouldn't worry , it looks like they switched everyone over to a Real Shipping Order Number . That Order might have just been a Temp PreOrder Number. If you log into Sprint , go to See Bill, Order History and you can see the new Number
 
i just checked my order status and it did not state it was backordered. It says last updates 5/15/12 which is when i checked last status. I am wondering if where wye live has something to do with status. Maybe because for everyone to get thier new baby on the same day, the one that have to be shipped farther need to be shipped sooner than someone that is in the same state. maybe we can start listing our city & state to try to crack the backorder/shipping riddle.
I ordered mine 1:30 seconds after pre-ordering was opened.
I live in Oxford, New Jersey.

Yah, I can see that, but it looks like that screen doesn't update.. I can still see my iPhone which was a pre-order, and the status never updated...

Right the DM60 prefix shows the Order has been processed for Shippment , so it wouldn't update any from that. If you look at your PreOrder Number is has a different prefix . You did get the IPhone once it went to this status correct

I also want to add when I looked my Order up yesterday by going here I had nothing showing at all and my Bill was a $-211. Now my Bill is back to $0

Yup, I sure did... Wish I had looked at that order status page before the preorder page went to back-ordered to see if there was any difference...

My bill shows -500something... your cycle must have come around, and the changes posted to your account...
 
All i want is confirmation of when i will receive this stupid phone! I'm not in any huge hurry. I'm going out of town tomorrow and will not have cell or internet service so the phone could just be setting at my house all week alone and scared of sticky fingers. Just give me some accurate information Sprint!!!!

I just put in the different order number on the order status page. The product ID is the same, but the description says "HTC X325C BAR PHONE" and there's no status message.

I've had this since the 7th, myself, no change yet. I'm not sure what all that means.
