Hey 702, see if you can pull the Power Control Widget from that build, I haven't been able to find it. I've searched every app folder I can think of in 2.1 and haven't run across it.
How does 2.0 run on the Hero? Is it a lot smoother than 1.5?
it's a test build a bunch of folks have been working on over at xda.
they are getting close, but not everything is working yet.

I like the buttons for the bightness and all that , where can we get it?

That's the power control widget.
I've been trying to get hold of it to port over to 1.5, so far I haven't been able to find it within the system files,
but it comes with 2.0/2.1

wifi/bluetooth/gps/sync/brightness all controlled with a one click widget.

My shiney new theme with fancy stuff:

The shiny new theme program is dxTop: Alternative Home with the Rusty Metal theme and Steampunk icon set.

I am rather pleased with it. The dxTop utility works well on Android 1.5 Cupcake with no lagging out or anything like that. Four virtual desktops are plenty for me, and I am digging the Steampunk image - makes me wanna get a second hand Android phone and do a major Steampunk case-mod on it...

This is my favorite homescreen from IRobot. I use the app called backgrounds which changes hourly with my favorite set screens.

Here's one that I made, FOR MY NEW HERO! (Left the Pre after 6 months and haven't been happier!)... I'm putting it up for anyone else who'd like to use it since I've gotten a lot of help from these forums so far.

I made the switch, too. I'm very happy as well. Not so happy that I had to go through so much crap through Sprint, but we are one good terms now that they switched it. Its bad when there's a whole discussion for people who switched from Pre to Hero, but I haven't seen the reverse on the Precentral forum (I still frequent it for my girlfriend's sake).
