Simplier MHL solution?

Hey guys
Ive been looking for a MHL adapter for my phone and want to find a simple and reliable one.
Does anyone know if this would work? I know it's not the standard Samsung one and it's a lot less bulky than the other MHL adapters.

I guess it does. It's hard to tell even in the closeups, because the thing that dangles off of the cable almost looks like a female HDMI, but I guess it's female micro USB. It's just a matter of if it would work. I don't know why it wouldn't...

If its compatible, it should work. Especially if its for another Android.

I just use the one from my Samsung Infuse I had. Luckily I didn't trash it.

Cool Cool. Yeah I like the design of it a lot better because it's just one cable going to your phone and the MHL adapter isn't inches from the phone putting strain on the USB port. I might have to pick one up.

Just bought a MHL adapter and a 15ft HDMI cable from Overstock.com...best prices I have seen!
Together these are @ $11 plus $3 shipping....under $15 and good to go. Just ordered today so I can't vouch for them...but the reviews were good.

I just got my items from Monoprice.com and they work really well. Unfortunately all 3 TVs in the house are connected so I really have no use for using my phone on my TVs at home, but it's nice to have when traveling.

So I took a 1080p video over Christmas of my family. Tonight I connected it to a denon receiver. No audio during playback. Weird. I'm going to try connecting to the the TV direct tomorrow.
