So looks like I broke my S6 Edge...

Are you serious? The screen still scratches very easy despite it being Gorilla Glass. Not from something like car keys, but from pieces of sand and dirt. My first (defective) phone, I decided to not use a screen protector and it gathered quite a few micro scratches in just a few days time. Along with the back glass.

I have my S6 Edge in a clear view cover case.

I had S1 for 2 years, S3 for 2 years and both of them have no scratches either.
I guess it depends on how you handle the phone. I keep only a phone in one pocket and no car keys or wallet or other stuff.

You must have put a lot of water on there bud.

There are tests that show the galaxy s6 and s6 edge working after 10-15 minutes or longer under water. Maybe the way you sprayed it was weird. I've put on thousands of those wet protectors and never had an issue. Yes, thousands.

Maybe your unit is not as properly sealed?

S6/S6 Edge screen will scratch easily no matter how u handle it. Problem is not GG4 display, instead the layer on top of GG4 is bad applied and causing scracthes.

I would put your phone in a ziplock bag of uncooked white rice overnight. The rice will draw out whatever moisture is left inside the phone and should get rid of the condensation on the camera.

Good luck.
