No problems here other than some (pleasantly surprised how few actually) apps don't work. No complaints on the OS.
BS. Maybe releasing crap software/products is acceptable to the masses where your from, but where I'm from we call that people being suckered in to being beta testers for the phone. Getting the short end of the stick, a raw deal, bent over and probed with no lube, etc etc etc...
You don't see Apple releasing iPhones with tons of problems or build quality issues(minus antenna gate), hell you didn't see RIM releasing phones in their prime with mass user complaints.
Really its going to be how Google/Samsung/Verizon respond to these complaints if there are merits to them, and what they do to make things right.(See antenna gate bumpers).
There isn't any need to put lip stick on the pig, if it sucks, it sucks. Nothing can be done about it, create the obligatory complaint thread and return it. The only way things get fixed is by effecting the bottom line for these companies.
Lol, good point. I guess I'd be mad if I couldn't get the Nexus for whatever reason too![]()
I knew these threads were coming and I LOVE IT!
THERE COULDN'T BE ANYTHING WRONG, THIS IS THE GREATEST PHONE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ALL WERE PISSING YOUR PANTS TO GET IT!!!!!!!!
Maybe Android is simply an inferior product to apple after all?
You love hearing other people upset? What kind of POS are you?
I love my nexus, there is nothing wrong with it, best phone I have ever used. Wouldn't take an iphone if you lined it with gold?
I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. My galaxy nexus works GREAT, dmchenry35.
I'll chime on this one also.
I've been an iPhone user since the day it came out. Nobody comes close to the way Apple Fanboys complain and expect perfection from every device Apple creates. Spend sometime surfing the iPhone forums and you see threads on yellow screens, light shining through headphone jack, home button doesn't have stiffness, mute switch rattles, light leakage, etc... Their QA is getting worse because of cheap labor and mass production.
Just some things to toss out there. I'm not saying the Nexus is flawless, but it does what I need it to do. I'm happy!
Clearly you never used a bb. Type in bb and issues and see the huge list. hell this year bb had phones just dying overnight while charging. Quit talking out your ass all phones have bugs especially when you get a new OS. Apple has it's fair share of issues to don't think because they make an all glass phone that it is immune. Not to mention you need a huge case with that because 1 fall and the phone is done.
Yes the iPhone is is much less customizable but it just doesn't have the issues the Android phones have... IMO.
Yeah...from someone who was a BB user for 5 years up until a month ago when I "rented" a Razr, i laughed out loud with the claim BB was relatively issue free.
I mean, my Storm2 took 8-9 minutes (i frequently timed this) just to boot!!! Ridiculous. From the day I got it, spontaneous rebooting was an issue that grew worse over time (with 2 different devices).
Yeah...when it wasn't rebooting, it was great with email. I will give BB it's due. But totally...i mean TOTALLY sucked at everything else.
Me too.....NO PROBLEMS.....PERIOD.
Of course, an accepted "challenge" is battery life. Mine has been decent. Considering the screen is 4.65", it's pretty darned good. Would like to see how long an iPhone with a 4.65" screen lasts!! ha ha.... 2 hours maybe.
He gets a chub when he comes on forums like these and sees there is an issue with a new phone. Guess that is what he has to look forward to with his days...
yeah i had the storm, curve, pearl, tour and dreaded when I had to turn it off and back on. I could get a lot done while it was booting up waiting for it lol.
Look at his post history, he's a big deal. He says so himself.
The iphone is having issues with battery on the 3.5 inch screen I can only imagine how much worse it would be if they increased that. I mean there is a reason they stuck with the small screen, and it isn't because of the retina display.....
I disagree. Im stuck with a work supplied Iphone and the three things that shine over android phones I've had is the screen (not size), the camera and the battery life. With moderate usage calling only I can get two days out it, with data I'm around 5 to 10 percent around midnight (phone off charge at 7am).
That said I'd much rather have a gn but I can't justify the expense since the Iphone is paid for and so is the service.
