so since all carriers are accepting the return of the note 7 Is the V20 the clear choice?

Why wouldn't they put a bigger battery in it? The v10 should have taught them a lesson.... believe me, I know.

My guess is that they are banking on users getting a backup battery. If the battery were too good, there would be no need for users to purchase backup batteries (i.e., additional profit).

Obsession with being thin. I'll never understand it. I don't think it has anything to do with making $ on spare batteries.

So finally turned in my Note7 today for an LV20 at t-mobile. That was my second Note (had a 4), and I regret selling my Note 4 after the "fire storm" started.

The LV20 seems like a decent phone. I need to wait until the 28th to get it, so I am going sans phone "cold turkey" for awhile. I should be fine though I feel like I am getting the shakes already ;)

I feel like I am going to miss the AMOLED screen and Stylus a lot, but it is just having to get used to new things. I really didn't have an easily obtainable replacement. Pixel XLs are sold out, and because they don't support external memory, I would have needed a 128GB, which would have been a longer wait.

Not sure if I am just trying to convince my self that I am excited or not. :) I just didn't seeing any other options for the size of phone I wanted and the timing since I needed to return it.

Go to YouTube and search for the pocket now review of the V20, the audio is amazing and I'm getting this phone coming from the Note 4

Same boat for me. Gonna miss the Note 7, but am kinda excited to use the V20. Not sure if I'm actually excited for it, or will just be happy once this Note 7 fiasco is over for me. Oh well, does seem like a good phone though. Just hopefully doesn't have a bootloop issue like I experienced with the G4.

That is the exact feeling I have. I have talked to 2 others that feel the same.

I got my Note7 on launch day, delivered to my door step. When the replacements came out, I went to the store and I got it on that day. Nothing but excitement and love for my Note 7. :)

I know there were a few faults with the phone, and it wasn't the second coming, but that was a nice phone. That phone was HAWT... okay, wrong choice of words. :p
