Software flash question

Mine is SM-N976V (verizon) the only files I was able to get on Frija was the SM-n976U.


Tried and failed... on the phone its says something about failing PIT

If I used the "HOME" CSC it still failed just a different reason...

Ok so I've reset the phone, again, updated the USB drivers... still the same
Odin: Re-Partition operation failed
Download on phone: Secure Check Fail: PIT

I feel like I'm missing something in this..?!

You need Sm-N976U1
Need the patched Odin prince comsey
Region XAA

Ok SM-N976U1 does not come up in Frija. The only one that does come up is the "U" variant not U1. I have Odin v.3.14.1-3B-PatcheD (if that is the right one, unless you have a direct link). and what do you mean by region XAA..?

It should come up thats the unblocked firmware.
That odin only used for going carrier firmware to unlocked or vise versa. Carrier to carrier the regular latest odin is fine .

You have the latest Frija ? What version your using

This is what I downloaded and it was the only one that would come up (I tried all the other variants and it told me could not find them)


and am I unlocking or going carrier to carrier..?

I really apologize but I thank you for sticking with me, I just do not want to have to buy a new phone as I just paid this one off.

I wanted you to go on the unlocked firmware as Verizon phones act little strange when used on other carriers even when flashed to that carrier firmware.

So what you have in the screen shot is carriers version.
