I did a check for update on my 2 days old XPRT and got a notification for an update. Unfortunately I don't have the setup to take screenshots with this phone yet and I don't remember the exact version number promised by the update. I let it download the update and it reported it as installed successfully. Thing is, I don't see anything changed.

Does anyone know what this update was supposed to do? Right now I'm on system version 4.1.15, but Android itself is still 2.2.2 Froyo.

i just received an update a few days ago, not gingerbread but another Motorola update, haven't seen any changes, could be some bug fixes but i dont know. hopefully this update fixes the dead sound issue people been having.

Here is what changed in the latest update
This was copied from Motorola

Improved handset audio
Improved calling functionality
Improved voicemail functionality
Improved SMS and MMS functionality
Improved email functionality
Improved data efficiency
Improved desktop dock functionality
Improved network selection of Hands Free Activation
Improved handset security
