SOL headphone

I just received 4 new X's yesterday but I'm having an issue with my sons SOL headphones. They worked with his old nexus and my droid maxx but they will not work with any of the x's that we purchased yesterday. Other headphones work with these phones, just not that one. The headset is pushed in all the way and with no case on. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Either get different headphones if others do work or you may have to call Motorola and talk with them because their is probably no easy fix.
