Spam links and Google Play keep opening suddenly from various apps, why is this?

Spam links and google play keep open suddenly from various apps

Often while opening Whatsapp or some other apps a spam link opens with the usual prizes and things like that, or a Google play page opens with mostly the Amazon app or a safety app. I already have cleared Chrome cache, but this keeps happening. Apps like AVG and Avast can't find a problem, so what can I do?

Welcome to Android Central! If it happens when you're not in the browser, then it's not related to a website. You probably unwittingly installed some adware alongside some other app. Uninstall apps one by one until this behavior disappears.
