Sprint Galaxy Nexus - Where to Buy?

the rep said i can cancel it right away. so i am guessing he just wanted a sale. I am calling sprint tonight to cancel it.

Haha they tried to do that with me. I shut them down, some Sprint people are real scumbags. Mine had put mine in an otter box without asking me if I wanted it.

Btw, I'm trying to get my $50 credit. No one at my store knows anything about it. It's starting to piss me off. One told me I had to port my number from another carrier. Another said its only available online. Idk what to do. I found this on the Sprint website... "Sprint is seeking to increase the momentum of this program by offering a $50 credit (for each new line of service), on top of the Sprint Buyback program standard offer, to all customers who participate in the Buyback program from April 15 to May 17." So my real question is why shouldn't I get this, I did the buy back on the 21st bought my gnex (new line of service) the 22nd.

Im thinking worst case scenario I would return my phone, repurchase it and do another buy back the same day. However, shouldn't sprint understand this is worse for them than just giving me the discount.

Broke down and bought a GNex at lunch! It's such an amazing phone! Tons better than the Evo 4G I had. I love how I was adapting my Evo to be more and more like the GNex anyway :P It's going to be a great two years :D

Ordered mine directly from Sprint last night. It shipped today via UPS, scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I'm completely shocked as I was expecting to wait a full week or more. Guess my trusty Evo 4g will be retired quicker than I had anticipated.

Me too.
I was having no luck finding one anywhere locally so I thought it best to go straight to the source.
Ordered mine directly from Sprint only moments ago.
Hope to get it Thursday or Friday.

Just bought mines an hour ago, I'm amazed how fast this device is compare to my evo. It handles everything with ease. So far I'm pretty satisfied with my GNex :)

I bought one from wirefly, but it looks like they are on backorder, like alot of places.. It's worth the wait though for the price. I'm not sure why no one else has seen this, but it's $130 for upgrades if you use the coupon code RETAILMENOT20 at checkout....

And apparently I can refer people to buy it and we each get $25 credited to a paypal account... Worth a shot, right? Referral Link :D

Tried to use that code, says invalid or expired:'(

im still holding out for Amazon wireless. I've emailed them requesting an availability date. All of there sprint 4G devices just went to a penny again....

One of the Vendors i was for sure would have carried this device @ launch. Weird on the choices made.

But i'm not spending $200 on this phone, when already, it can be had for $150, and i almost grabbed it for the $130 as earlier posted, but the code didn't work.

$130 or less is my new target :p offset the activation fee..

Haven't gotten mine yet, but mine comes out to $99.99 after $149.99 price match and $50 phone freedom. If you want to count Google Wallet, $49.99 FTW! Just hope I get it soon! :/

Hopefully you all get your GN's soon. I haven't been able to put mine down. Sure it may be 6 months old, but it's still a beast of a phone. I'm glad I parted ways with my E4GT and grabbed the Galaxy Nexus.

its not 6 months old. it's 4 days old. Sprint has never had this device.

Use the re-run slogan, "if you haven't seen it, its new to YOU!"

Spoke to Wirefly agent again today and was told that there was no estimated date that they will get more Gnex's in and to check back in 48 hours.. Called up the local sprint store and they might be getting some in today. I might just cancel my order with wirefly and get it locally.

What so likeable compared Evo?

sent from Evo4G using Tapatalk

My Evo 4g running the latest version of MikG was rock solid--I have an uptime of 30 days as of right now which I never experienced with any other ROM including earlier versions of MikG (my phone's spent the most time running CM7, Warm Two Point Two and Synergy).

I'm looking forward to ICS and "Pure Google". I never had any major issues with Sense but ICS looks to be a huge improvement in usability. Given that I use my phone more for reading RSS news feeds, checking email and looking at websites than as an actual phone, the bigger, higher-resolution screen will come in handy too.

newegg, wirefly, and radioshack are now showing on their websites that they will ship on thursday. it use to say 7-10 days

also just switched from wirefly to newegg since they have free overnight shipping, and was told by 2 different agents (I have 2 different orders) i should have it have it tomorrow (thursday). however when i asked if it was in stock, i was told the phone was not in stock... so fingers crossed!
