Sprint Galaxy Nexus - Where to Buy?

its not 6 months old. it's 4 days old. Sprint has never had this device.

Use the re-run slogan, "if you haven't seen it, its new to YOU!"

True but when you see the HTC One X in person you'll see why the Gnex is showing its age. The life cycle on these devices is crazy short.

Hopefully you all get your GN's soon. I haven't been able to put mine down. Sure it may be 6 months old, but it's still a beast of a phone. I'm glad I parted ways with my E4GT and grabbed the Galaxy Nexus.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do....just waiting for Best Buy to ship me my freakin phone that I already paid for.

But i have zero interest in any HTC product.

I completely understand the life cycle, but its in the eye of the beholder.

Brand loyalty may pose a bit of interest too. Even if Ford came out with a car that could do zero to sixty faster than my current Nissan, doesn't mean i'm going to rush out and get a Ford. I will wait until Nissan's next vehicle comes out.

Just because something is better than or equal to, doesn't mean i want it.

Plus according to headlines, there will be a new nexus end of 2012....

HTC means nothing to me, period.

In summary, my personal electronics purchasing life cycle goes like this. Buy the Gnex now, buy the better Gnex when it comes out. Anything in between, especially made by another company, may completely be irrelevant for my personal taste, or purchasing habits.

Have you seen it in person? I didn't know it was out for the public to see yet. I did read that ATT was putting some display units out though.

Who me?...oh, sorry I was dreaming about holding the One X again. Called up my local ATT store and lo & behold they had 2 on display so I marched on over. Hardware was thoroughly impressive, especially the screen...still making my mind up about Sense 4.0 but it was slick. After waiting for the Gnex forever I'm now disgusted I have have to wait for the Evo LTE to drop on Sprint. Based on the One X this thing is well worth the additional weeks of playing the waiting game.

Brand loyalty may pose a bit of interest too. Even if Ford came out with a car that could do zero to sixty in a negative amount of time standing still (defying the laws of physics here), i would NEVER buy it. I would always buy a Nissan.

Just for kicks, what did HTC do to you and your family to earn your ire?

---EDIT: There is no CDMA support either---I'm sure you guys saw the $399 16GIG unlocked multi band (CDMA / GSM / HSPA+ / NO LTE) versions show up in the Google Play store, but FYI if not.

Oh, whoever is posting with the HTC Arrive (best physical qwerty ever on that phone imho, wish they made more physical qwertys); if one has owned an android device that sense integrates with like 3D on the EVO 3D, it would be more likely said person would have an opinion on sense. I am not a fan right now.

You got that a bit mixed up there. There is no CDMA/GSM animal out there.

This is for GSM carriers only, not for us Sprint folk.

jlo8720, lemme know if you find any here in Austin & I will do the same. I checked the store near W 5th & Lynn Sunday & the one on 12901 N 35 today. Interestingly, the rep on Sunday stated they will not carry any until they get LTE here (which he said would be before June) & the one up North stated they should receive some soon & will allow you to "pre-order" one (meaning when they receive them they will pass them on to those who reserved one in order) with $50 down & a contract renewal.

jlo8720; FYI the store on 12901 N 35 has a few in stock, enjoy!
