In years past, mine S-line preorders were held in a warehouse until the day before official release day despite being shipped a week before. But that was Verizon.

Yea same here but I'm giving up my Note 8. Battery life is horrible I'm charging it at least 3 times a day. Thats with normal use. My note 5 and 7 before I had to give it back lasted longer. I won't miss the s pen since I hardly use it.

Done with s9 and s9 plus. both lines got a 10 dollar credit per month. great deal.

Good looking out. I've been on an older 2 year contract Sprint plan for years. My 2 years just expired. I have an S6 and have been debating about what to upgrade to. Checked the Sprint site and I can get a $10 month loyalty credit which puts the S9 @ $33 a month or the S9+ at $38 a month. Both are 18 month leases, but the rep told me that at the end of the lease I can pay the balance off with 6 monthly payments and own the phone, or just return it and upgrade again.

Alternatively, Best Buy is offering the S9 for $30.91 and S9+ for $33.83 on a 24 month installment (non-lease). Decisions, decisions, decisions.

How odd. I had not heard of any Note 8 battery concerns.
Oh well. The S9 Plus will do just fine.

there may be hope for Samsung preorders being that is says delivered "by" 3/14 and not "on" 3/14
