I hate the fact that with 4.4 on my HTC One I no longer can set a separate lock screen wallpaper. I found it use full to have a different wallpaper so I don't end up swiping up trying to activate my camera when the phone is already unlocked. I wonder why they removed the option and hope they restore it soon.

I had to uninstall Themer Beta in order to be able to see the widgets on the lockscreen. Weird!!

Mine is running well so far. Only downside so far is that I really miss having a separate wallpaper on the lock screen. :'(

As for the lock screen widgets, I take it only certain widgets can run on the lock screen? For instance, I have a different calculator widget that I downloaded some time back. When I go to add a lock screen widget, it only shows the stock calculator widget, and not the other one I have downloaded. The other one still works on a home screen. Not that big of a deal...just made me curious about how the lock screen widgets worked.

I have but one complaint. I can't disable the lock screen! I really liked that feature and it seems pointless to take it away. Ahh as is life I guess. We shout for change and then cry when we get it. I love many other things though so all in all its a positive thing.

Well I have download the Kit Kat update, and so far, I am happy with it.

One change I noticed that the battery icon in the status bar is now white instead of green. It actually does it make it easier to see it. Also I have noticed that the pop-up notices have a different font and background bubble looks a little different. It looks good too.

So far, I have noticed that the battery life seems to be a little better than it was before.

As I notice other changes, I will post what I think.

Battery was much better today. The only issues I've had are with the music player. Songs I download with an app I have don't show in the music library now. Just a small thing. Over all, really like all the small changes and the responsiveness of the phone.

I hate that they took this away. I don't need it to lock every single time the screen turns off. Very annoying. There seems to be an option in the Security options to disable this, but I can't get it to work (or its not really intended for that purpose). I think it may just be to disable the lock screen when you have security enabled, but not the lock screen by itself.

The HTC ONE on ALL CARRIERS has been put on hold and DELAYED!!! However, This UPDATE Was already being PUSHED OUT to SPRINT CUSTOMERS..... IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY ISSUES, You will not be able to REVERSE Back to 4.2.2 or 4.3!!!

Please visit the UPDATE's PAGE And read the LETTER To HTC ONE customers!!! The Decision to put the update a few weeks back was decided AFTER the Completion and PUSH to Sprint Customers... This is not to say that the UPDATE is Faulty... And Sprint Customers may be just fine... but I would personally WAIT
