Well in person means it's the same area you're in... Versus someone being in another state and having that weak signal which causes weak speeds.

I would hope the people around you on the same towers, location, etc. could pull the same speeds.. Otherwise that would be very odd... But for people in different areas and states the weak signal could easily provide less bandwidth than what you're used to seeing in your area.

Sprint defines spark as carrier aggregation in b41 in addition to b25 and b26.

The snapdragon 800/801/805 is only capable of dual band carrier aggregation AND 2-10mhz carriers maximum. So you can't aggregate the 20mhz b41 with anything. For reference, the note 3 uses the 800. S5,m8,and g3 the 801. The 805 hasn't been released yet.

No. Handoff means the ability to switch between bands or modes. This isn't exclusive to Sprint, for example, on att, most newer phones can Handoff between 4 lte bands on its network. Without handoff then you are stuck on just a single mode (for example b25 lte), and cannot switch to cdma or another lte band. Almost all current phones have handoff.

Aggregation is the ability to use two bands at once. For example, the AT&T M8 and S5 can use both b17 and b4 at the same time. Currently Sprint doesn't offer this, based on their description above.

The network might be capable of providing 2-20mhz b41 carriers, but I don't think any current Sprint phones can aggregate two 20mhz carriers. Sprint opted to deploy b41 with 20mhz carriers.

BTW those speeds were also indoors in a big church and other big buildings soooo you add a thick wall to a handset trying to send a signal....that makes it really tank. The tower maybe able to power through it but a handset...not so much.

isn't aggregation when you use more than one channel...not blocks of frequency? Like using B41 and B25? not using full spectrum of B41 vs only using partial spectrum? Or does it just have to do with using multiply radios at once and that is the only requirement. (like mimo or whatever it is called)

never heard that i heard this:

they will offer 3 bands. you will default to the higher band if reception is available and you will only use one band at a time in order to keep the lower bands free for those who don't have a good signal since space is limited in the lower section.
