Sprint Working Nexus S 4G Update To OS 2.4?

Actually, that's never been confirmed. All we had was a screenshot (which could have been faked or wrong) and then nothing happening. So we don't know that there even is an update.

Actually, it was confirmed as pointed out by a Sprint representative on their forums.

They said that there was an update and it got delayed but it IS still coming. They also said that no matter what anyone tells you, it's not cancelled and no one knows what's really in the update.

First, I agree an update is on the works, second I pray is nearing release. Having said that, what was posted on that thread is not proof of anything even if the poster is indeed a Sprint employee.

That's as official as you're going to get as no one inside of Sprint is allowed to say anything else.

If you don't believe it, fine, but you're really not going to get anything else.

But the great thing is this - Google, not Sprint will make sure we get it, and - Google, not Sprint will make sure we get the first 2.4 whenever that is.

This (and no Nascar, etc., etc.) is what makes me love my phone.

So that is what was said and I have agreed there is an update coming but I don't know when it will be released. Also, if you read my prior comments about the update on the July 11th thread, I have always stated that the sprintfeed.com info was a RUMOR and as such, unreliable. As for a Sprint employee information, I believe all of us have experienced how reliable their information has been on this and many other topics.

Bottom line, when an update is ready for release we will get official comfirmation - from Sprint and/or Google - about it rather than rumors or forums posts.

This however, I can't find this here or elsewhere on this thread; if you have a link to share with this information it will be greatly appreciated.
