Re: Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - ***Release starts March 31st***

I read about it a while ago that it is a part of the KitKat program that makes apps load faster and run smoother. But the draw back is that the apps take up more space. Or something like that, I could be wrong.

Don't do that. Try standing on your head with a fly between your teeth. It works better.

Damn maybe instead of between my teeth I'll be like Laroso from the Karate Kid and catch one with chopsticks lol. Didn't take him to long. Lol!!

Check the forums for different unbricking methods.

Has your phone been acting up in anyway or having problems from stopping the GSF?

None at all. Working smooth so far.

Yeah, but you're screwing up your notifications from Google Services by doing it that way.

I don't know who the Google engineer was, but I've done this for every update and never had issues with Google services or notifications.

It would be nice to know what clearing the data of Google Services does that allows it to pick up the update. Kind of blows the theory that is based on serial number, clearing that data does not change your devices serial number.

Power off phone. Hold power & volume down until you see LG logo. Release, then hold them down again. You'll see a reset your device screen. Tap power button. (This is a factory data reset)

I've noticed that since I updated with the ota,it uses more memory. Thought the mem was supposed to optimized.
