Someone already posted in a different thread. Folks at XDA ate waiting for the ota file to be uploaded so they can bless us all with it. Can be found at /cache/fota prior to taking the update if someone can get it and upload it posting a link.

Yup... It's for real. It is coming, and by that, I mean it's *probably* already starting to push. The Sprint website was updated in the last 8 hours with this entry, showing today as the release date. If they posted this today, stating that it's release date is today, then it's very likely pushing to at least *some* users TODAY.

Does anyone know how to download the update as a file? So that we can download, copy to the phone's root, and do a manual update and not wait in the OTA queue? I see posts about this kind of thing being done all the time, but I am not clear on how people are getting the udpate file. Anyone?

From what is being said out there, ZVB for LG is the internal testing version, but for Sprint, ZVB is the next release in their cycle to keep it consistent. So basically, this is LG's ZVC renamed to ZVB.

To be fair, I never said it wouldn't be... I just said that I had never read anything to indicate that it absolutely would be, in terms of commitment from Sprint. It was only LG that promised it by the end of March, and they were, in fact, early. I am amazed that Sprint actually did come though...

That said... I have not seen a single post from anyone who actually HAS the update... yet...

I just hope the update does more than simply shave a few milliseconds off here an there... Maybe *some* new features? To make this all worth while?

For whom ever gets the update first (in this forum), please post your update experience, and anything in the rom that is actually a new feature, if there are any.
