What does user friendly tethering mean? Is this going to mess up my easytether usb tether, or is it going to allow usb tethering without app perhaps?

Sprint should fire their marketing people. 9pm PST isn't 2/21 for those of us on the East Coast. Why announce something that you know you've kept us waiting for only to mention at the very last second we'll have to wait at least another day?
I would like to know this too if anyone knows... Can it mean tethering allowed without the hotspot feature anded to your account?

+1 (I'd +2 if I could)
..and I totally agree, however, updates are managed (or pushed) via Google's servers, and since they are located in California, I would have liked for a 9AM release time frame, but at least it's official and we can stop whining for now...
yes, but keep in mind all this means is that they'll be starting to roll out updates at 9 pacific (and a day later than promised). considering it's planned to take the rest of the week for updates to be pushed, I expect many people here won't be able to update for a quite a while.
Mixed signals, broken promises... you're acting as if this is some new strategy from Sprint...![]()
Can any of you guys help me out. I have phone and data service just upgraded to the epic yesterday. Whenever I go into menu, setting, update and try to update the firmware, data profile or prl I get the message

Sprint came seem to find out whats causing it
So, if I'm reading all of this correctly my wife's Epic which is stuck on DG27 or DG17 (don't have it with me right now) because it was bought on 09/23 and never received the update notification for DI07 or anything there after, won't be able to be updated, right? And if I wanted to manually update I would need to find all of the versions between EB13 and whatever her phone is on and install each one in order to get it to work, correct?
