Stay away from this phone

1) just give it time. Those speakers will blow too

2) about the camera. All people have to do is go take pictures with it. You can see that for yourself. No point talking about it here.

Seems my questions weren't answered regarding the link you tried using to support your claim. :'(

I take pictures and video with my device, but I'm at a lost as to why I'm seeing so many examples from a relatively large sample set (in various different settings) that contradict what you've been trying to convey? I should at least objectively see the majority of my pictures as being below satisfactory, but that isn't the case. Why is that? Had you stated that the 4mp Ultrapixel camera cannot deliver consistent optimal results, I probably wouldn't be sceptical about your "facts". But since you don't want to talk about it anymore, I'll end.

Sorry but, in defense of the OP, the "blown speaker" issue with the HTC ONE is a well documented issue.

I wonder if its the speaker or the top speaker cover vibrating? That thing is NOT zero gap. You can push it with your finger. There's a big gap there.

I was going to wait for HTC Butterfly S, but I really don't trust HTC build quality.

I have no gap on my one I have zero gap.

All HTC One will have crackling speakers if using CM based roms or even music apps that have their own equalizers like the ported Sony Walkman app.On stock music app there are not a single problem with the speakers.
Are you sure you you didn't use any CM rom or special music app?

I done have a pop when using Google music and I am stock.

Ajarnfalang:

1) I got my One the week the black one came out. I stream local radio and Pandora wide open every morning. When working in my garage I do the same. The wife and I lay around watching funny YouTube videos on my One all the time- wide open. Sounds much better than the iPhone 5 I bought her, hasn't blown speakers yet?

2) we use the wife's iPhone 5 and my One for photos REGULARLY. We are the Facebook/instagram generation. We like my One and the effects right out of the box. The pictures are great. At my sister's graduation a few months ago we preferred the photos with my One.

Opinions are just that. Thank you for yours :)

That's what I said. Pictures are fine for Facebook and Instagram. But that's about it.

Ah yes, I understand. I suppose if we were going to be doing more than post our cellphone pics on social media websites- hopefully we would think to bring an actual real/dedicated digital camera.

But it is true I do not work for national geographic so pictures of my cat don't necessarily need to be taken by professional digital camera. I do see your point though.

A hahahaha!

Another HTC paid tool.

Every single HTC ONE has a gap on top. Like this

And that was just some random picture of a ONE from the Internet. I was just using one this weekend. In thailand, at a store, brand new, GAP. they all have it. It's a glued on piece.

Doesn't matter how much you deny it. Anyway can see it at the nearest phone store.

What's with the name calling?? I have the gap on mine, but I fail to see it on this one. However it must be there since ALL HTC Ones have this problem as you've started:

Mine doesn't. It's perfectly flush.

That's because you have nothing to compare it to.

And the phrase you're looking for is "I'm at a loss" not "at a lost".

Just out of curiosity who are you talking to or calling mouth pieces? Cause my speakers do not crackle. But I I do have a very very small gap.

Many have been a little leery of HTC devices before the One. The truth is tech is not perfect and some samples will have problems. I don't think it's at a point where most One owners will experience this. I was thinking of "renting" a One from Best Buy for 13 days. Perhaps I will just not bother though.

Hello there..
I print my pictures from my holidays taken with the htc one and put them in a nice photo book and they looked great.
If you go like poster format okay then they will look worse ...for the rest they can look great in your photo album or on your big screen tv or big computer monitor..
.
Here just a picture off My cat again it looks great even on a big screen i think...:

Loved this phone till top speaker started to crackle. Bought it 2 months ago and now I have to pay $50 to get a new phone replaced. It's under warranty and HTC says I need to send in the phone for repairs that takes 10 days. This is my business phone and HTC told me to just use a different phone while it's fixed. I guess everyone else has a spare phone around? After talking to a sprint store rep this blown speaker is starting to become a more frequent problem on this phone. Unless u buy insurance be prepared to shell out 50 every time your phone speaker blows.

your biggest problem is your budget carrier.

Great that the HTC trolls are defending it in a thread entitled "Stay away from this phone".

Ok. You're right. Every one who has ever reviewed this phone is wrong. 4MP is awesome!!

The One is said to be the go-to phone by some...does it need to be defended??

Lol the trolls never give up.

I love the One's camera. I actually prefer it over my iPhone 5's camera.

As for the speakers...I haven't had s blown speaker problem yet. So idk.
