Straight talk Galaxy S7 wifi problem

Before about two weeks ago I could connect my phone to our wifi with no problem. We had called and had our password changed and when we did they "separated" the wifi accounts because they both had the same name. Now one is 2.4 and the other is 5.0. It's like after they did that I connect my phone to either one I can bring up a Web page but it will just try to load. It just sort of stops. Using my data is a million times faster. I can connect my laptop to it and it runs fast and fine with no issue but my phone won't even budge. I've restarted the router multiple times and restarted my phone and have connected to both accounts and still nothing.

Double check your router to be sure the device prioritization is not turned on if you have a linksys product. When mine was on it reduced the available speeds from 150mg to 20mg as it set aside portions of the bandwidth for specific devices.
