Streaming services suddenly stop /shut down

I have a 32GB T-Mobile Note 5. Whether I am listening to podcasts with headphones or streaming Sirius XM, Pandora, Tune In radio over Bluetooth, whatever I'm listening to will suddenly stop and when I look at my phone, the app has shut down.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Have you tried opting the app out of the battery optimization feature? I found I needed to opt out runkeeper or it would close the app while running with the screen off
