You're basically arguing an opinion other than yours is meaningless because you know what people want. There are plenty of serious note users who prefer flat screen. Note has lost its no nonsense business appeal and is now appealing to teenage girls who want to send lovie active notes to their bf's. See the commercials. My Note is gone. Now it is a toy
No. I'm saying that not everybody will be willing to pay that much more just for a flat screen. Your opinion is that people will pay for a flat screen. I'm saying we're talking about LG here, one with a not so good history in their phones launching a phone that will be competing in features against a Note but will most likely be priced more than a Note because of Samsung control. Not only does LG history and lack of presence and ads in the market play into people's perception of buying it, there are also people who would balk at a price premium just for a flat screen. Not to mention that this is a company that's steadily losing it market share every year. It fell from 2nd biggest Android manufacturer to 5th in one year.
I'm saying, until SPen patents have expired, the only Android manufacturer with a big enough market share and clout (at least outside the US) to release a 1k priced Note competitor is Huawei. They can also keep pricing competitive against the Note because they make a lot of their own parts too.
