yessir, i did, and i know i have SU enabled, because I saw the multiple prompts for SU to allow the change right before it reboots.
Also, as a side test, i run minfreemanager, and mybackup pro both of which require root access to function.
They both work great, and when use them for the first time after a reboot, i get the "superuser has granted permissions..." dialog
I am not able to ROOT my phone, I have the latest version and updated using the LG Updater. Can someone help me?
Thanks
Out of curiosity, are you able to flash the other custom recovery? I've personally had issues with the CWM recovery flashing properly (and even when it did flash once, not launching via the usual method). Never had any issues with the other one though.
still a bit confused!! will this root me after installing LG Software updater for LS670ZVC?
Android system recovery (3e)
I am not getting a root.
I went back to V9 and V9 recovery image.
Did the LG update tool to VC.
Then tried to root using this.
Any tips?
Did you copy the included update.zip to the sdcard?
If yes, did you attempt to apply it in recovery mode?
Yes. I did and I saw some broken code in yellow text.
