I like my T-Bolt, I think its a great phone. But there is so much lost potential that could make this a legendary phone. But for what ever reasons it just seems various companies are keeping it down.

No official Netflix yet, T-Bolt should have been 1st on the list
No official Hulu yet, see above comment.
Sense 3 seems unlikely
No myhtc.com, really? Reeeaaalllly?
The minor build quality issues, kickstand etc.
Reboot issues, lucky I don't have them.

I'm just saying for all the hype and the price point these things would be nice. What bugs me is that all of these things should be relatively simple to just do.

You mention hype, and I ask who relly creats the hype? Generally it's phone fanatics on internet boards like, but not limited to, this one. It happens with every phone, I'm sure you could find someone who will sign in blood that the unreleased Droid Bionic is the greatest phone in the history of wireless communications. Undoubtedly that will change once it's released.

Most of those apps will eventually come to the TB, and sense 3.0 would be a memory/battery hog, so the TB is probably better off without it. I love Android central, lots of great information, but on any board, a lot of users create a self induce hype that exceeds logical expectations.

Much of the hype on phones DO come from boards like this, with exceptions. Notably, the OG Droid launch AND the Tbolt launch. The marketing for these phones was legendary. You couldnt flip a channel on TV without being told "This isn't your dream phone, it's the one after that." It was on billboards, internet ads, radio, TV - everywhere. So, I dont agree that the hype on the TB was grassroots.

Honestly, the phone is a bit of a disappointment with the issues owners are having, the missing items the OP mentions, the battery issues etc... Not a dream phone and the ones after that (Nexus 4G will ROCK! But other htc phones look like they will be better, same with moto) are superior. Let's not forget the issues with using the mic with regualr earbuds, issues with the iphone headsets, no desktop cradle yet from HTC...

I like this phone. It has potential - but the ship is sailing away now. I think it will just be a footnote before the end of the year.

That is what we get, however, when living on the edge.

Who creates the hype? You think forums do that?!!! Try the marketing people for HTC and Verizon.

99% of phone buyers don't even know these forums exist.

With the new data rates, I wonder how many people are gonna be streaming video much?

Your top 2 reasons have nothing to do with HTC or Verizon. Those can be blamed on idiodic companies not going after the big user base devices first. Netflix went on that FUGLY Casio phone initially! Really?!?!? For all 2 owners of it and 1 of them doesn't even have Netflix! Idiot company!

lol sorry for the Netflix rage they just irritate the hell out of me!

No official Netflix yet, T-Bolt should have been 1st on the list-works fine on BAMF 3.0 ROM
No official Hulu yet, see above comment.-N/A for me
Sense 3 seems unlikely-Again, FULL 3.0 sense port works fine on BAMF 3.0 ROM
No myhtc.com, really? Reeeaaalllly?-HTC issue not Verizon.
The minor build quality issues, kickstand etc.-User preference, I see a small peel in the kickstand but that doesn't bother me at all
Reboot issues, lucky I don't have them.-Gone since updating to new leaked radios for me

What you perceive as issues may not be for everyone especially those of us that are rooted.

I think some of you miss the point. I know rooting "solves" a lot of the issues. But it's not about individuals rooting their phone. I am talking about the masses. This phone has the potential to be very popular with the masses if all of the things I have listed were not issues.

For those who wish to, root and hack away. But my guess is the more popular the phone, the more likely we would all benefit from official software and updates on going.

and please note, that I said "various companies" so I am not just pointing at one over another.
