T-Mobile: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

I just called T-Mobile spoke to one of the Reps she try to order a note 8 but wanted to charge me a $20 processing fee and they wouldn't even include an overnight shipping. In the past there has been never any fee or any shipping free it's automatic overnight is anyone else having this issue with their jump on demand order with T-Mobile?

yeah I think it's best to wait, there's so many unanswered questions to jump the gun doesn't make no sense because the phone is not getting released for another three weeks

But with either Jump or Jump On Demand, are you paying anything extra for it or still paying the same amount the phone is worth and no additional fees for the Jump or JOD service....?

I just tried to preorder too and he has to call me back, I don't think he knows what he was doing, he sent me a link from Sams Club which is taking preorders but I wonder why you were able to talk to someone who actually let you pre order!

I'm not having much luck ordering online. The site keeps crashing on me regardless of what device I'm using. I just have jump which shouldn't be an issue. I'll probably just call tomorrow.

Probably a lot of people. I'm in a Facebook chat preordering now. Did the same with the s8+

I'm not getting any response on either the website chat or Facebook chat. For Facebook, do you just go to their Facebook page and hit "message"?

Yes. I've used that for various questions and things. 24 minutes though since their last response. I may have to try again in morning. I have to work tomorrow and it's 1:15 am eastern time now

I finally got mine ordered! Actually for the 3rd time. First rep had no idea what he was doing, I called back rep # 2 put the order in for adding a line instead of jump. I didn't see it until the email came with the receipt and e-sign agreement. And on top of that she had my phone number from someone from Arkansas. Had to call back to cancel that and re order with rep #3 . She only charged me $26.49 which is for overnight shipping which she already put a credit on my bill for that. They must be bombarded with calls because this order I have not yet received confirmation yet and the first one came through almost immediately. I was all happy until I saw the mistake she made so I hope it all goes through smoothly since I don't have anything to back up this 2nd order and that the first order has been cancelled.

Straight from the terms:

Upgrade the device:*You can upgrade to a new device, up to up to once every 30 days. The upgrade must be to a different model or memory size and your current, eligible device must be in good condition.

30 day jumps are for level entry phones, not the higher end ones.

no costs at all JOD and the shortest and smoothest transaction in over 2 and a half years. Got the JOD eip email and signed it before hanging up with the rep

I was the first one to call the Note 8 An bs upgrade from the S8 plus but checking out a review on YouTube right now that camera looks amazing

I went to bed last night with my preorder only partially started. Round 2 starts now. Hoping to have it finished by the time I walk the dogs before work lol

What channel did you use to pre-order? Usually Twitter seems the most painless.

Phone calls are always charging assistance fees now. I was told a couple months ago when I ordered a G6 for my son that the $20 was for a nano sim. The order showed assistance fee. I would stick to a channel that doesn't include talking to them.
