I'm not sure if you lose your credits when you sell the phone or only if you cancel service. The details seem to indicate you only lose credits if you cancel wireless service.

You will lose your credits because you have to pay the phone off early to sell it. The fine print says if you pay it off early you don't get the full credit, as it's spread out over 24 installments.

I did this on Verizon, but I am not sure how T-Mobile handles this. I had the LG V20 and I got monthly bill credits to pay off the device over 2 years and I sold it within the first year and Verizon had no idea I sold it and I kept getting the bill credits to pay it off. I bought the Note8 last year and threw that on my phone line and Verizon didn't ask or care what happened to my V20 and continued to get the credits even with the Note8 on my account.

I'm surprised the buyer was able to activate the phone if your carrier listed it as not yet paid off.

So I pre-ordered my note9 on Aug 15th and it says estimated shipping is 9/24... How would I redeem the bundle promo from samsung if its past the deadline to redeem? also would there even be any bundles left that late?? this sucks.

I pre-ordered the same day as you. Call 1800SAMSUNG and speak to their promotions department. Tell them your issue that your phone is delayed and your phone isn't supposed to show up until after the free pre-order gift promotion has already expired and they will create a case number and document this and make sure you write down your case number. They guaranteed me I will still received the free gifts because this is not due to an error of my own, but because Samsung didn't have enough supply for the demand of the 512gb Blue Ocean.

I think they go by purchase date not when you actually submit

Nope, read the fine print. Says you must submit before Sept. 13th or you're out of luck.

512gb or 128gb? I wouldn't waste my time with the 128gb because I have the S9+ so I'm still waiting on my 512gb preorder.

Love mine. I went from a Note 8 to S9+ to a OnePlus6 and now this. I would have kept my Note 8 originally if the battery life would have been better.

I bought the 512GB blue model and couldn't be happier. Thinking this one may stick around for a while. It seems to check every single box in my opinion.

Mine is shipping the week of the 17th of next month. Or at least so it says. I submitted it early last Friday afternoon and it was approved on Monday.

Pre-ordered mine on 8/18, with a shipment date of 9/5-9/12, and so far the promo is still showing the gifts as available. Better yet, they extended the registration period from 9/13 to 10/1 so looks like all of us waiting for our phones to ship are good to go.
