T-Mobile LG V10 getting Marshmallow Next Week! (Update: It's Live Now!)

Well guys. Been a couple days. I did a reset right after update. So far today I am currently at 37% battery. Screen on time is just shy of 3hrs (2hrs 50mins). About 30mins of that screen on time was streaming Netflix and YouTube sitting in my car at lunch, so brightness was up around 75%. I'd say a SOT of 4hrs is easily achievable for me. If I hadn't streaming 30mins of Netflix at lunch I could probably squeeze more out. Compared to Android 5.1 my battery is as least as good. Possibly better though I'd need more time to evaluate that.

At 7% currently. 4hrs and 12mins screen on time. If wondering if those 13hrs on battery about half was spent on LTE. Rest was Wi-Fi. T-Mobile network. Android 6.0

EDIT: Alright. Battery died. Final rally was 4.5hrs of screen on time. I think that's actually a record for me. But maybe 45mins to an hour of that ended up being streaming video. I imagine if I lightened up in that I THINK 5hrs could be possible. So far I think battery life on 6.0 is pretty good.

Earlier I commented that my battery life sucked after the update, which was very disappointing since it was pretty darn good on 5.1.1. I figured I give it a few days before doing anything drastic, like a factory reset. It's been 4 days since I updated, and I have to say the battery life is back to where it was, maybe even a little better. After 14 hours on battery, I still show over 7 hours remaining. I haven't changed the way I use the phone nor have I changed any settings. So, I would say the update is pretty damn good. Everything is running smoothly and the fingerprint sensor is lightening fast. I usually turn my phone off at night then charge it in the morning when I wake up. I notice that when I first turn it on, I have to use the unlock pattern; the fingerprint scanner won't unlock, it goes straight to the pattern. After that, though, it's all fingerprint unlocking...and in an instant. Anyone else notice this?

Probably due to this:

In many jurisdictions [in the United States], if you secure your phone with a fingerprint police have the right (without any warrant) to force you to unlock your phone and let them inspect its contents, but if you secure your phone with a password law enforcement has no such right. This may sound crazy, and counterintuitive, but it is the law (Steinberg, 2015).

By having the initial startup security something besides your fingerprint, you could hypothetically turn your phone off before being raided or arrested and not forced to use your prints against you.

My phone requires a typed in password or PIN on startup, then you can finger print after that.

It's just like OTA it's the actual update file and I just installed it my self, before doing it you gotta know what you do, do research because you could brick your device

I started getting a crazy weird lag. Where sometimes when I tap home, the navigation buttons on the bottom and the notification icons on the top are just black and don't show up for about 3 to 5 seconds. It started yesterday and is happening ALL day today.

I'm going to uninstall all new apps I've installed, except for Lux and see if the problem persists.

Lux may be the problem. I was having random lag issues with the notification shade. I uninstalled Lux and the problem went away immediately.

I had problems with Lux pre-MM. I just uninstalled the 4 or so apps that I had installed and the problem is gone.. I still have Lux, not sure if there's still a slight lag or not. It faster than it was though, by quite a bit. I hate when apps screw everything up.

Still no update either. Tried the airplane mode toggle trick and still nothing.
