T-Mobile Pre-Order Thread!

Damn, I would not get it if that's how much I needed to pay. I've been with them for 12-13 years and was charged $89. They actually charged me more for the S10+, $134

I was charged about the same for the S10+. I was expecting to get a $200 charge for the Note 10+ and would honestly have considered myself lucky if I got that. So I was pretty pleasantly surprised when I got a mere $89.99 down payment.

Likewise but only marginally. It's entirely possible you'll see your card charged on Sunday, followed by an origin scan on Monday and delivery Tuesday or Wednesday. I mean, consider that the alternative is staring at an "Order Processed: Ready for UPS" message all weekend.

At least that's what I'm telling myself to feel better about not getting my card charged today. :)
That's true I'd rather be charged and see movement right away then have it sit for 3 days before the origin scan. I'm just hoping if I change the delivery address UPS can find the cabin where I'm staying in Tennessee. I was told they don't receive mail from USPS. Fingers crossed my phone doesn't get lost somewhere in the mountains.

Need some help! I pre-ordered the 10 Plus on JOD and I just dropped my One Plus Pro 7 and scratched up the screen a bit. There's a tiny crack in the upper left corner. Any advice on what I should do? I'm not sure if I should file a claim for a new phone before the Note arrives or will I be able to pay the deductible when I turn this phone in?

OK this is risky, but I'd say leave it alone. Tmo says the screen has to be in "acceptable" condition. As long as the device turns on and operates OK you should be good. Again, there's the chance they could charge you for this, but I doubt this. Seems like a minimal risk to me

When I turn my phones in they barely look at them and they usually have some scratches as I gave up on screen protectors a while back. The only concern is the tiny crack. If it takes close observation to notice it you'll probably be fine. Basically if you notice any imperfections in a 30 sec. inspection there might be an issue.

Would they charge the insurance deductible? I cannot believe this happened a week before the new phone should be arriving smh

I've had people barely inspect the phone and others really check everything on it. There's no way to predict it. I think the crack is noticable, it's right on the curve of the screen.

I havent been charged yet, but I've received like 20 cents in 3 separate refunds on my bank account from samsung electronics mobile refund dated on the 12th. Does anyone know what that means?
I got a refund for 7 cents. Not sure if it's related to the phone or my gear s3 watch. Bought a couple watch faces recently and usually see Samsung Electronics show up in my bank account when I do. Strange nonetheless.

No it's higher in store. In-store damages to the screen are 250 vs the 99 that the insurance now charges for devices.

As I wait for a card charge or a shipping label notification, I do remember after getting my S10+ all set up, realizing that half the fun is gone. Anticipation and comparing shipping dates and so on.

Don't get me wrong, the phone is going to be a monster! But does anyone else feel like half the fun is the waiting and anxiety?

With that being said, let's get it crackin T-Mobile!

Definately thought I would wake up to a charged card. Let's get on it t mobile! I dont want my phone on the afternoon of its release ??????????????????

So has anyone heard of a shipping delay? If you go onto tmobile to pre-order the aura glow in the Note+ with 256gb, it now says 'ships by aug 30'.

That's how it's evolved. I appreciate the excitement, the waiting and the anticipation. I ordered via Samsung and nothing's shown as far as movement of the device but with a week left something will happen shortly. I miss going into the phone store, first Sprint and later Verizon, just to see what was new and interesting. I didn't get swept up into the festive nature of the pre-order ritual until 2016 with the Note7.

They get a certain number of phones for release date. A certain number the next week and so on. If the original allotment is sold out, then any new preorders get one out of the next allotment

Haha, I definitely agree with everything you've said here. Part of why I pre-order is to partake of all the fun here.

I do not find waiting or anxiety to be enjoyable, lol. I just like new tech and I will enjoy the note 10+ until the next cool phone is released. That said, if tmobile ever takes away JOD! or makes my down payment for a new phone on JOD! $200 or more... I will likely switch to Verizon to have better overall coverage.

Has anyone gotten their IMEI number ? I just looked at my account. They completed the lease of my Note 9 and my Note 10 had an IMEI number now.

I currently have the Galaxy watch. I had the gear S3. I do miss MST on my watch but the battery life far outweighs MST. The Galaxy watch battery is fantastic.

I agree. The battery life is great. I'm getting an average of 5 days per charge.
