T-Mobile Pre-Order Thread!

I'm going to pre-order either the 10 or 10+ and should be eligible for the lower pricing based on TMobile history but curious if the 10+ is even going to fit in ones pocket? Any ideas or thoughts on carrying this size of phone around as a guy without a purse?

I compared measurements on phonearena.com I have a XS Max, and the width is almost exactly the same. The height is less than a 1/4 inch difference with the 10+ being slightly taller. I don't think it's gonna be a problem.

Yup, the bezels keep getting smaller while the screen gets larger, so the end result is a phone that isn't a whole lot bigger. Only men who wear skinny jeans might have a problem pocketing the 10+ comfortably.

Has anybody seen any reviews mention if the Note 10 will include a preinstalled screen protector like the s10 did?

According to a rep after the event yesterday, Samsung hasn't decided yet. Either a screen protector will be preinstalled or a case will be included.

Good to know. I usually order a case and screen protector prior to receiving the new device, so I ended up with s10+ screen protectors that I never used. I'll hold off on ordering a case or screen protector for the note 10+ until I know for sure what it will include.

Just placed my order via Twitter

Your new Samsung - Galaxy Note10+ - Aura Black - 256GB will be shipped to:

The amount, including taxes, you will be charged upon shipment of your device is $97.86, $97.86 for your Capitalized Cost Reduction and $0.00 shipping. In addition, you will pay 18 monthly lease payments of $46.12 , for a total of $830.00, plus applicable taxes. Cancellation of your account for any reason may cause the early termination of your lease. All remaining JUMP! On Demand Plan payments may become immediately due and payable, and you may need to turn in your device.
You must turn in your previous JUMP! on Demand device to a T-Mobile Retail store within 14 days from receipt of your new device.
Failure to turn in your previous JUMP! on Demand device(s) will result in the continuation of your original JUMP! On Demand Plan and all applicable payments.
By upgrading to a JUMP! On Demand Lease you understand that you must turn in the JUMP! On Demand Plan device(s) to T-Mobile at JUMP! On Demand Plan end and T-Mobile will evaluate your turned in device(s) upon receipt and any discrepancy may result in the assessment of excessive wear and use fees of up to $750. Note, if assessed, these fees may be due on your JUMP! On Demand device turn in or may be billed to your T-Mobile account and will be due on your next statement.

I think I'll just walk into TMobile and get it on the 23rd. Then it's vacation time!

Preordered mine through T-Force early this morning. Was able to weasel the free overnight shipping. Aura White 256GB. Time for me to send back this XS Max. Time to accessorize!!!!!!!

Anyone know when we can redeem this credit or how we will be able too? I would like to use it towards the Galaxy’s Watch Active 2 when it drops.

I keep getting system not available when trying to pre order anyone else seeing this

I notice this thread's subject line ends with an exclamation point. Is the T-Mobile pre-order much more exciting than the other pre-orders?

The number of posts/views vs. other network pre-order threads might answer your question.

What screen protector would you get if one isn't pre-installed? I use a Spigen Neoflex for my S series phones. For the Note series though, the pen causes permanent depressions in those TPU screen protectors and so I get tempered glass. This is the first time that isn't an option due to the in-screen FPS. Yes, I know Whitestone Dome will work but that's a bit over the top for me.

The pre-installed protector like on the S10+ would have been great since it's thin and won't get marked up by the pen. Any third party protectors that are like this? Most that I find on Amazon are TPU.

I've been with TMobile for 2 years now and have 9 devices on auto pay and they'd rather lose a customer then give me the cheaper down payment. I'm gonna finance through Samsung, jump to the cheapest phone TMobile offers and pay that off. Then when the rest of my devices are paid off switch to Verizon. TMobile service is horrible in rural Michigan lately. My phone barely works in half of the state. I live in a somewhat rural area and travel frequently to northern Michigan where it's basically a paper weight.

Haha, yeah that's a very obvious flaw in JOD (on their end, that is). You can always jump to an S8 or something, pay that off, and be done with them if you want.

With the current down payment for me it's cheaper to jump to the cheapest phone they offer pay it off then switch to Verizon where they offer zero down.

I don't blame you for being pissed off, man. I'm sure it's nothing personal from them. They literally just read to you whatever figure the algorithm on the screen gives them and can't offer anything else. I'll just say that I was in the same boat when I was 2 years into Tmo, with 5 lines total on my account. Had 1 or 2 run-ins with them that made me almost switch carriers. Overall though... with the deteriorating state of services and customer service in every industry, I've found T-Mobile to generally have a noticeably higher level of customer care than just about every other company or business I deal with. So, I'd just suggest thinking of it as business and do what's best for you and those on your account from that perspective. Be sure you really want to leave T-Mobile for Verizon. The latter might still be ahead in rural areas, but there's probably no company that'll make you feel like just a number more than Verizon.

I finally got a rep willing to work with me and got a $95 bill credit so my total out of pocket expenses after the credit will be $95 with next day shipping. Hopefully for the note 11 I'll qualify for the better pricing. I was honestly considering skipping the note this time but I can't stand my s10+. It's the worst Samsung phone I've ever owned. The proximity sensor is garbage and the fps hasn't worked since day one.
