Changing SIM Cards does NOT change your phone number (unless you want it too).

I would call customer care, or take it to a store, and have them activate the NEW SIM Card in the N20U on the line you want to keep the number on.

It's not hard or much of a hassle.

Currently I have my sim from the Note 10+ in my Note 20U unlocked version and there no standalone alone , I'm going get the newer sim see if that gets it .

I can report that with the new sim I've noticed no difference in speeds. SA may not be available in my section of NYC.

Pretty easy to do online as well. Took me just a couple of minutes to active the the new SIM and swap it out.

I'm in jersey , so far 5G mostly were im going.
Is there a separate toggle now for the 5G ?

From what I understand you need the SIM and an update that hasn't been released yet for the N20U. I have not seen a difference with just the SIM in San Diego.

I updated my SIM although they told me I didn't need to. I had to call a second time to use the new SIM. I don't get 5G coverage at home, so I have to go out and about to test it.

Yeah it wasn't like that before the unlocked would drop to all carriers, but esim not available on US Samsung.

I watched the video from Samsung about the UWB module and they were saying the esim was built in with that. I also looked at the specs before buying and they said had esim. I hope it does I need 2 Sims.

US carriers for some unknown reason turn this off , international version have it .

This is what I was reading. Maybe I read it wrong, upsetting if it doesn't have it though. Last dual Sim I had was note 8 purchased from Hong Kong.

It has the capability , but US carriers turn it off for their phones , HongKong is a different region . You can check Xda if anyone found way to enable it on .
