Tethering Help - Wifi and PdaNet

I really need some help. I have the Verizon Droid Charge running Gummy, voodoo and overclock. I can connect with wifi_tether 3.0 and PdaNet but the internet connection get's lost in 5-10 minutes. I've tried Barnacle and just about every setting. Please help if you've been able to get either to run or if you have any ideas....

It's a problem with the network. Can't say for what but Ad-hoc could be a contributor to the problem. VZ probably momentarily times out a connection is they see it being use frequently. I know I would if I was a greedy corporation. If you want to be able to complain, buy it and then b!tch to VZ - maybe they'll give you a month free. They did me.
