In many of my contacts phone numbers, I put a text note next to the number after a space. ie: 222-555-1111 Dave.
On the Evo, but not on other phones I've used, I was able to go to address book, select the entry and all was good. On the Evo, the text fails to instantiate because it doesn't like the format with the trailing text. On other phones I've had, the system just ignores trailing characters. Very, very annoying.
Any work around here, other than editing entries. Also posting so perhaps this floats up to HTC if it is specific to their apps.
