Can you tell me what version of Live Message you are on? I'm on 1.0.36 (AT&T Carrier) and I do not have that resolution setting dropdown menu when I tap on background. I heard there was a new version out but I haven't got that update yet. I keep checking though.
I'm using Textra with the stock keyboard. MMS resizing has never worked for me on ATT. They just won't sent the message out if over 1MB unless you are using their text app and something else I think...

I manually went to the Galaxy store and updated the ap. I'm not sure what version but it's the most current

No updates for me but I did download the latest Live Message apk and I now have the resizing menu in the background panel. I still can't send our all Live Message GIFs. Textra needs an update for sure. I can send out in stock Message app.

Go into Settings>Apps> then in the 3-dot menu in upper right-hand area, tap on Show system apps> once the apps load, scroll down to Live Message

if I put it in landscape mode I see pictures. so I'll do that until a fix

So I just noticed that when I press the + to add a file or select some other option, all it does is open to the camera. Nothing else is available to pick. Anyone seen this?

Mine shows everything as it should. Not sure why you're would be different.

I've got textra on my Note8 and it shows me all the options under the + menu... Not sure if this makes a difference, but I don't use the Samsung keyboard & I have Verizon as my carrier.

I'll try to post screenshots of textra's mms & SMS settings...

I've had my unlocked Note 8 now since release. When I first got it, the + did the same for me. Recently I realized that it works as normal now. Not sure when it got fixed. Probably just an update.

Yep, textra can send LM and they work as spected
