The LG G3 has arrived :-)

I wish you the best of luck with your new device.

May it like my G3 bring no lag, no overheating, no auxiliary problems, no screen dead spots, no Bluetooth connection problems, no Camera issues and no battery problems.

And may it run as good as Bolt.

Best of luck be it the Note 4, Nexus 6 or moto X+1.

Sorry just had to...

But seriously sad that your devices were buggy and hindering your enjoyment.

I'm sure the note 4 and Nexus 6 and moto X+1 will have bugs and issues also it happens. However may you be more fortunate next time round.

Re: To all saying goodbye to the G3

Electronic are always hit or miss. This is the first time I ever returned a phone actually. It was a hard choice but it's one reason I usually wait till adjustments are made in production to avoid these situations. Very good phone but I felt it was rush to US market without proper QC

All phones are going to have issues. Just because someone might not be experiencing them doesn't mean others aren't.. It's why we have warranties and insurance :).

Very true these smartphones are massed produced and it will continue to happen and bugs will get through QC, that's why updates usually correct the little issue/issues and the more serious problems usually you would get a replacement (under warranty)

But some go round in circles and can get another faulty product after exchange. I have been fortunate this far with smartphones.

But if you can't possibly live with it and it's just going to bug you that much (pun intended) then returning of course is the sensible option. We would all do the same or most if faults were bad. I know I would.

The Note 4 is almost here and Nexus 6 and Moto X+1 and no doubt they will bring very good specs and features.

Good luck with your next purchase :-)

Re: To all saying goodbye to the G3

Then there's people like me who have T-Mobile jump.. I get a new phone every 6 months. I have T-Mobile jump 1. Much better then the new jump.. The New jump now requires you to pay off at least 50% of your phone before you can jump into a new one.

IMO: To be honest I think most of the issues on this forum are either overreacting a simple thing or user error - and most of these people think they got a faulty phone. (Don't kill me guys, I still love everybody from here. :D)

If your not having any issues with art then no, if you plan on root and running Xposed it will throw you back to dalvik (as Xposed framework is not compatible with art).

I seriously doubt have to use GPS Status & Toolbar to correct the compass user error when I can clearly see it working fine in my M8. I also don't think interference noise from the soaker when plugged in is a software glitch. This phone is good. It could be just me. I buy a phone every six month or so and never experienced issues the way I had with this. It just reiterates why I don't like to buy phones just released. There's always flaws or bad batches to push them to the masses.

Re: Verizon Bloat Removal

Finally. Hopefully they do this soon. I'm tired of looking at their apps and I don't root

Re: Just for laughs

Hilarious. Lol. Hey, Apple fan base is massive and they are very loyal. Can't blame them for their great reputation. From a company standpoint, that's one of the goals.

Re: Verizon Bloat Removal

Can't do this currently. Cannot remove any Verizon apps, nor nfl mobile, nor Isis. Any idea when they will allow this?

I agree with your post. There are always going to be lemons ,as they are in everything, cars, fridges,TV's , computers, etc.

Re: To all saying goodbye to the G3

This doesn't mean that the G3 doesn't have some weak points compared to other brands either. I wouldn't paint people who've pointed those out with the same brush as people who just ended up with defective units because that's unfair. I'm not accusing any of the previous posts in this thread of that, but there are some who will take that approach.

As for "no" lag, that's not really accurate. There is no such thing as a smartphone that NEVER has an occasional lag or stutter, ever. Even on a non android OS.
