Yeh not to concerned about that, I can hold volume down and launch into the camera app

Bit of envy at not being able to update lol

However I just couldn't be without root and having my set up...

My G3 is as smooth as it can be and I like it, just need 1 fix and yeh I'll be happy, still won't be perfect of course as what is really? But will then provide me with a G3 that I can say meets my requirements

Not quite that straightforward buddy....

Some can update with root not sure what variants (Not mine D855) and what happens it breaks root and installs the update..then meaning you have to root again.

OK so after using Stock since launch and nothing wrong with it what so ever. Just my habit (the urge to mess around) yeh was bound to strike at some point I turned to my go to launcher Apex...

And stumbled upon this nice theme..Adio Theme which is really neat & tidy and all icons are uniform.

Yes you can still use any wallpaper and retain the icons...its OK I have a screen protector lol actually I don't just thought that would be funny cough cough and ahhh ahhh ahhh chooo...moving phone away from the spray..

That red 12 is my circle battery icon with percentage.

We are all lucky....

OK so were here at AC share a common interest in phones & tech...

Without getting to political as this is not what we are here to discuss..

But I can't help myself to think how lucky we are to be able to use such tech and for it to help us communicate with others around the world and various other things obviously.

There has been some great smartphones released this year and while I dislike certain ones & like others...

To end this post....

Tell ya what... there are some extremely dysfunctional and dangerous places in the world and right now especially peace does not seem to be on the menu. Millions of people don't have safe water, enough food, sewer systems and places where their children are not in danger... never mind access to technology and a government that does not seriously restrict communication and freedom of speech.

We are indeed lucky. We've done nothing in particular to deserve this status.

This Status or thread wasn't aimed at anyone its just my cold that has me all sentimental & a bit philosophical and grateful.

Wasn't trying to get all political but just showing a respect for all things tech and how lucky we are to enjoy such...

Like many people now living in this country and others like it, I've never known serious pain, hunger, thirst, disease, war, political oppression, natural disasters, poverty. I almost feel ashamed of it. Look at the realities of life for almost all people in the past, most people living today, and the whole of the rest of the animal kingdom, and you wonder what the large man in the sky thinks of you as you sit fiddling with your toys.
