Yesterday was the first day my batter held up, 12 hours of medium usuage and at some points heavy but never light and had around 30 percent at night, I geuss rooting for better battery life is not an problem

well did yet another test played the green hornet in 3d with brightness at 60 percent for 20 minutes and i lost 10 percent juice so go figure in about 1 hr watching the movie i can expect to lose 30 percent , does this sound normal consumption with my test

Everyone is different, lots of variables. Singnel strength, what apps you have, so many variables. Everyone is not going to have the same battery life.

well if we all just play the green hornet movie in 3d at about 50 percent most of all should come up with same numbers because to play the movie you dont need to be runnin 3g or 4g or anythin in background am i correct

Yes and no. It depends what apps people have installed and whether or not those apps are reaching out for data.

In the 24 hours since I last charged, I've turned the phone on about 20 times to check and reply to texts, browsed for 20 min and 2 short phone calls. Brightness is 100%. Wifi and 4g have been off. 6 hours of sleep time for me. Phone is still at 47%! There is little to no drain when the phone is sleeping. My EVO would've been dead after 10 hours with the same light usage.

got it i just dont see how people r gettin 12 hours out of this thing with nmoderate use.. what sucks the most out of me is when i use the internet on 3g or 4 g ect... i do have the lock screen and home page with a picture of me and my girl and the clock widget with weather that sometimes pops up with clouds n rains ect on screen..

Fyi,, i have found that keeping brightness on auto uses no more or no less power then let's say, people who keep it on in the thirtys.

I keep 4G turned off (not important to me). I've read that 4G (or your phone searching for 4G) can be a real battery suck.

I got 17 hours nearly always doing something at minimum playing music yesterday perhaps yours needs to be calibrated or you're leaving radios on that you aren't using

Just watching 3D movie for that long, that's half the battery on anyone's phone. Then everything else you did is also alot,, maybe with some tweaks here and there you can squeeze a bit more but not much. Take away the Watching of the 3D movie and you most likely would have had another 3 hours of your very heavy use. That would be around 9 hours of strait heavy use. What more would you expect.

i never get 9 hours i get usually 6-8 hours on moderate to heavy use.. I get 6 on mod-to heavy and on semi moderate like 8-9

Really happy with the battery life on this phone. I've had it for a few days now and it beats away my Nexus 1 and Infuse that I previously had. I am also running JuiceDefender Plus on it, but no readings quite yet as to how good of a job that is doing.

Very happy with battery life, still on my first charge and way better than my 4G. Down to 15% now been unplugged for 15hrs. Includes 8hrs of sleep but otherwise moderate to heavy usage. An hour plus on the internet, 30 minutes or so using maps, several 3d pics and videos, 5 phone calls and just random exploring the phone and settings.

A solid 14 hours of moderate usage, several phone calls, internet browsing, email checking and a couple facebook posts. 345 This morning to 545 and still 10% left!!!! Yowzah!!!

Battery on my 3d has been mediocre. I tweaked alot of what has been said in this thread.

Which Juice Defender should I download? (There are four in the market place.)
Will Juice Defender graph too, or is that another app?
