If anyone needs to stow any feelings, its you and your feeling of righteousness, just because you got yours already do you feel as though you are smarter than anyone else who ordered through the GP Store? Google does owe us something, preferably refunded shipping costs. I pre-ordered on the GP Store and it helps promote their business model that they have been trying to get off the ground since the Nexus One. What exactly is the point of being an early pre-orderer through their store then? I specifically chose the GP Store because I liked the idea of Google selling the product themselves, but now I don't think I will ever order from them again.

How would you feel if someone who pre-ordered an N7 yesterday was in front of you in line when you were picking yours up and when you stepped up to claim yours they told you the last guy got the last one. You were still had a pre-order. So did he, if only for 24 hours or so. Meanwhile, you pre-ordered before him but now you have nothing to show for it. Trust me when I say you'd be pissed too. And this doesn't even factor in that we paid for 2-day shipping to get an N7 LATER than everyone who didn't pre-order on day one from the Play Store.

I know some are saying that GS is directly violating Google's wishes by selling the N7 early, but why couldn't Google just send our Play Store pre-orders out with the retail shipments? The organization in this launch just wasn't there, and its frustrating.

Your line of pre orders had nothing to do with Gamestops. Stop whining and complaining about shipping. Seriously first world sydrome right here.

I didn't pre-order the N7, but I did want to chime in and say I'm over pre-ordering in general. There have been a few times where I got my device early (before street date) but most of the time I'm waiting around for a FedEx truck the day of release or later, taking time off so I can sign for the package, etc. Much of the time you can just walk into the store on release day and walk out with a device. None of the sitting by the window, listening for the delivery truck stuff. Hopefully all the early adopters will get their devices soon so the good will in the google play store is restored.

I walked into a Sam's Club and got mine today (no pre-order either). This thing is NICE. And it fits in my pocket (which means it will actually get used). AMAZING.

I'm really hoping good sales of this tablet will kick developers buts into making tablet optimized apps, especially those that work well on 7".

I just preorder mine yesterday and got a shipping confirmation tonight. I think that pretty much guarantees that everyone's pre orders have shipping! The worst part is I bought it for my anniversary next month. The pressure to not open it maybe more then I can handle!

I just preorder mine yesterday and got a shipping confirmation tonight. I think that pretty much guarantees that everyone's pre orders have shipping! The worst part is I bought it for my anniversary next month. The pressure to not open it maybe more then I can handle!

I just received my shipping confirmation email so it looks like my 16 gig is on its way, I'm highly anticipating getting this tablet. I've been reading a lot of heartache concerning the fact that gamestop released their pre orders early earlier then people who preordered through the google play website. As soon as I found out the tablets were available for preorder during the keynote I was placing my order.

no I'm not certain if google was originally planning on shipping the pre orders out today, if that was not the case then it looks like gamestop may have done all of us who preordered it a big favor, and if that is not the case... I'm certainly thankful to have it on the way, I'd like to say congratulations to all of the lucky people who were able to get their hands on their tablets today, I would certainly consider myself an early adopter, but it is always nice for someone else to get their hands on something new first so if there are any qwerks, they get to find them first

So I went out and bought one at Sam's (in Austin), and of course I get back and receive my tracking email. Oh well. I'll either return it to Google for a refund or give it as a gift to someone. I've been playing around with it for hours now. Love it so far. I can relax now.

Of the ones who have received notice, did you have disable the pre-load of your Google account or leave it enabled? I ordered mine on June 27th. I got the initial email and have not heard a thing since. I am seeing post from people that ordered AFTER me and they already have shipping notices. They should have never gave the impression that the device would initially be exclusive to the Play Store and communication to those that did pre-order should be a lot better.

This could be a thing, but they should have warned that this would delay shipping or have their resources in order to preload the devices and ship them in a timely manner. I mean, what have they been doing since the keynote, which is when I ordered.

This is the same thing that happened with the Galaxy Nexus. I ordered mine on a Friday night and there were people who ordered Saturday and got their's before me. Google is pretty strange in the way they handle shipping. I pre-ordered on June 28 and haven't heard anything either.

I have other tablets so it's not a big deal to me, this is just a extra toy for me. I will order from the play store again but, I may not pre-order anymore. This is the first time I've ever pre-ordered anything, I usually wait after the initial rush and go buy at the store.

I'm happy for the people who got their devices. Hopefully Google will get better at this in the future.
