Does your Nexus S show YouTube in the app drawer? I've been playing with my store's demo unit all day today and the phone says it's installed, but it's nowhere to be found.

It seems im destined NOT to have visual voicemail LOL.

I guess thats the price I pay for getting a PURE google phone.

I got mine today and yes youtube app is in the app drawer on my phone. can you try to reinstall via market and see what happens?

For everyone lucky enough to get it ahead of time, what is included? Do we get the headset that the tmobile version received?

Can't wait for Sunday to come. I've final exams in law school, and all I am worried about is this phone, Haha.

Though i didnt buy one (it was like $5590 bucks, sprint changed pricing to block sales) I did get the box open to find the said earbuds, usb cable, plug cube, and phone.

I tried a couple of stores here in Phoenix AZ, Mesa and Tempe (Sprint and Best Buy) and nobody would sell them until Sun. I guess I will pick it up on my lunch break on Sun. It's gonna suck to have to go back to work and cant really play around with it until I get off:(

What's up everyone?!?!?! I work for Sprint and was able to talk my way into activating mine today. It worked perfectly because I've got 8 of them sold for Sunday. I had the Epic and I loved that phone, I had the OG Moto Droid when I worked for Verizon, BUT this is the DEVICE I have been waiting for. So smooth, sleek, and just plain awesome. This is a keeper. If you are on the fence about this phone, fall over and buy it, you will not regret it. Just so you know, at this time you cannot sync your facebook contacts with the Nexus S. Of course you still have access to it just like any other android device, but if for some reason YOU have to have your friends' facebook picture in your contacts, then this may not be the phone for you........:p

Okay so I'm def thinking about getting this phone and the fb contacts isn't really a big deal for me, but just wondering why can't u sync with fb??

It's weird because the market shows it as installed, and when I go to Manage Apps in the settings, it doesn't give an option to uninstall or uninstall updates. Also, is Thinkfree Office supposed to be pre-installed on the device?

Did you check if it was accidentally hidden? Never had an Android device but I am aware you can hide apps.

I didn't have Thinkfree installed on my phone. I only had Google Apps.

I don't even understand the appeal of this phone. It's the same hardware tmobile had over a year ago.. Why not just buy the EVO?

The nexus has a waaay better form factor, better screen, faster updates from google (since the evo doesn't even have 2.3.3 yet), no added sprint bloatware, oh yeah whats left...battery life which the evo is among the top worst android devices for battery life. Hmm I can't really see why we would want the nexus over the evo? All of this is just my opinion, but I did consider the evo at first, but I'm glad I waited so I can pick up the nexus instead. Just my two cents.

I totally agree with you. I had the original and I could've waited for the Evo 3D. But it seems as though every HTC phone is the same. Dont get me wrong HTC makes some damn good phones. But I just wanted to try something different. The only thing different with the Evo 3D is that its 3D and its dual core. I had the Attrix and I really couldn't tell any difference in the phone as far as comparing it with a single core phone. Then the Nexus gets all the updates first unlike other phones. And with all the talk about locking bootloaders..who knows if the Evo will be locked down.

Can't wait til my upgrade is here June 1st to pick one of these up. Running CM7 on my EVO for a while now and just love vanilla android. I'm almost tempted to ask Sprint if I can move my upgrade up a few weeks, trying to be patient.... :)

Depending on the manager they can usually work there magic. Just ask around. If its withen a month I wouldn't see why not. I have been a customer for years. So most of the time they do it for me. I had a upgrade already so I can't vouch for this time :).

The Palm Pre had no such bull. Oh well. Im not picky. I don't call many people on my facebook. Just a means of communication. I usually have there number in my Gmail Contacts to begin with anyways.

Well Brooklyn Bay Ridge store turned out to be useless. "We can't sell it to you today"
