Users (Us, We, you and I, Androiheads) should be paid $15 to Beta test apps, not the other way round. Honestly, I'm not expecting a update anytime soon. The only way we can see update is to pressure on them to come up with something soon, their original goal and could still remain is to be purchased by Google, HTC, Moto etc. They should receive at least 50 emails from us everyday. Better yet, they should create user forum.

Yep, they say that they're overwhelmed by messages/emails. What did they expect. As for updates, I was told this morning - that they are working on making SPB Shell 3D awesome for everyone. Updates are inevitable.

Did anyone get an email from SPB offering two free apps if you purchased SPB shell 3D?

If you did have you got the free apps?

Nope... paid my money.. and got what I paid for. Maybe this only applies to customers now purchasing the app.

I want scrollable widgets functionality in SHELL 3D, Thats it. they can keep their free apps.

You, me, and about everyone else. I'm optimistic that we will be getting some awesome updates some time •>> "IN THE COMING MONTHS"



This morning I was shocked to see a notification on my (calendar panel), showing an appointment I have coming up on the 26th of this month. I guess calendar notification(s) do work. Now.. if only the birthday widget would. Or.. maybe you'd have to set the date for it to work - duh! :-\ Silly me.

SPB Shell 3D seem like more fun than HTC Sense(froyo).

This offer is for previous owners of SPB Mobile Shell 3.X on Windows Mobile that have switched to Android and now bought SPB Shell 3D.

I was asked to mentioned this to customers/users.



Users can NOW try SPB Shell 3D for more than 15 mins if they got it from SPB website or from Handango.com.

Customers can ask for a refund even after couple of hours. With the refund request they should provide SPB with their Handango.com Order ID.

Also, one of the many issues that will be solved in the coming update (soon) is the Thunderbolt issue. (Cool eh?)

So, to all those who believe 15mins isn't long enough to test (some applications), can now rest assure that you now have more than enough time to purchase and test out the app far more than the Android market (ridiculously) 15mims time limit.

Ps. Go check it out now... SPB Shell 3D launcher is totally awesome. I believe 15 dollars is a reasonable price... for such a cool applications. ​

I tried to get apps, but it kept telling me my serial number was wrong. I enter the one they sent me. So I have just gave up. Not sure it was worth it anyway.

Fixed weather settings issue.
Fixed tap-and-hold action issue.

I did the update for the launcher, and then over night, it went wacko on me. It would not let me get back to my home pages and kept on saying that it was having to force close on me. I uninstalled it and re downloaded it, but to no avail. Anyone else have this happen to them?

Sorry to hear that... What you should do is contact technical support for assistance, they might be able to help you with your problem.

I? most cases •> Uninstall / reinstall the app usually fixed these sort of issues/problems.

(I'm baffled by this one)

I just installed the update a few hours ago. I'll test it and report any findings back here.

I did go over to SPB's site to see the "freebies" but I can't see the need for either.

I, as well, wish they would add a forum but if there's no one to respond/moderate it on a PAID level, the it would be useless. *I'd work for payment SPB and yes I own the product*

I too went back to SPB from Regina as I was not as satisfied with HER as I'd like to be. My best part was the app drawer on the horizon. I know someone will suggest a app that does this and that would be greatly appreciated IF... it is not a home launcher as well.

How do you change the name of the smart folders?
For example I created a folder and it called it 'Misc'
I then added several kid apps into it and was planning on naming the folder 'Kids', however SPB named it 'Tools'

There has to be a way to rename this folder manually myself, how??

Try this: Tap the open folder in editing mode... from there tap on the folder title bar. Uncheck the check box and type in the new name.

You cannot rename the folders like that. The steps above is the only way to manually do it. = There are two ways of renaming folders. 1) The system automatically changes the default name (miscellaneous) misc to whatever application(s) on the folder. 2) You would've have to manually do it yourself. Steps are shown above.

The instructions you are giving are to rename the panel itself...not the folder.
I cant believe theres no way to name a folder what you want.

If you want to rename the folder, here are the directions.

It is a little tricky, but follow these directions.
1. Tap on folder and open it.
2. Tap and hold a program inside the folder, like if you were going to move the program inside the folder.
3. Tap on the folder's name in the open folder.
4. Uncheck Automatic naming
5. Type in new name of folder.
6. Close folder.
7. You are done.

But horribly unintuitive by SPB, there are many improvements to be made to this software
